I’ve tasted three flavors; Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Peanutbutter & Strawberry Cheesecake. Here is a little review about these bars!
The first time i had this bar, it was a bit hard. I put it in the fridge because it thought that was necessary. Wel.. it isn’t haha. I had to chew my ass off so i could not really enjoy it. The second time it was a bit softer, so i could taste the bar a little bit better! I liked it a lot! You could taste the chocolate very good, which i liked the most. The bar contains 190 calories, 6 grams of fat, 24 grams total carbs (only 1 grams of sugar, no added sugars) and 20 grams of protein. Perfect after a nice workout!
Chocolate Peanut Butter:
PEANUT BUTTER! That was my first thought. I love peanut butter and i love chocolate. All of that in one bar can’t be bad.. right? And it wasn’t. This one is definitely my favorite. The bar really tasted like peanut butter. You couldn’t taste the chocolate that well, but the bar did seem to contain little pieces of dark chocolate. I love to take this bar after a nice workout instead of a shake sometimes. The bar contains 180 calories, 5 grams of fat, 25 grams of total carbs (2 grams of sugar, no added sugars) and 20 grams of protein.
Okay i just said that Chocolate Peanut Butter was my favorite. I lied. Sorry. Just wanted to build a little tension you know. Lol. Well i got this one as a present from my German beauty Melina. We send packages to each other now and then, and she knew i wanted to try this bar so bad, so she gave me one! The bar really tastes like Strawberry Cheesecake. Real food porn. This bar contains 180 calories, 4,5 grams of fat, 26 grams of total carbs (with only 2 grams of sugar, no added sugars) and 20 grams of protein.
Peanut Butter Cups:
Also a little gift from Melina. Peanut Butter Cups. These little carvings are not what they look like. One serving contains two little peanut butter cups. The cups are covered in chocolate and there should be peanut butter on the inside. Not true. Just some weird powder. I tried one cup, and i threw the rest of it away. At first it tastes okay, the chocolate tastes good. After you finishes the first one, you think you might puke. Not tasty. If you want to know what i mean, you should buy them.. but i don’t recommend it. One serving (2 cups) contain 240 calories, 17 grams of fat, 10 grams of carbs (1 grams of sugar, no added sugars) and 20 grams of protein.
Quest Nutrition doesn’t add sugars but uses stevia to sweeten their products. Besides eating this bar as a.. well, bar. You can also do awesome stuff with these bars.
